Living out the Christian Faith

I was reading Ephesians Chapter 4 this morning when I came across the following words:

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Such challenging words, but also inspiring ones too. None of us can live these words out in our own strength, and if we try by ourselves we will fail miserably. We all need the Holy Spirit's help to do this. And then with His help we will shine more effectively for Christ in the world we live in!
