Back to Work today!
Well it was back to work today after the weekend. I've been feeling unsettled myself at work for a while now and have been pondering if its time for a change in career. But what should I do? Got one or two ideas but whether anything comes of these who knows!
One of the biggest challenges for a Christian is to be an effective witness for Christ in our workplaces in word and deed. It can be so easy to let God down by our words and actions. Been guilty of that many times myself! However, potentially it can be a place where we can influence many lifes for the better. We could be the only Christian that our work colleagues ever meet. That thought can be both exciting and scary!
I read the following verse in Proverbs 13:9 tonight,
"The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out."
Lets ask God that he will give us his grace so that we may shine in our workplaces for Him in word and deed.
